Love
Many years ago my dear friend Lori gave me a gift. She introduced me to “soaking music” and it was a beautiful and meaningful tool that has been in my family’s life for over a decade. The early nights of soaking music healed and fueled us for the days challenges.
Somewhere along the way, it stopped being an everyday practice. And as life does, mountains come up and the hill to climb is rough. So I entered in to contemplation today and it came to me to rest in that soaking music once again.
Our Source of life and very breath is never far. I could list off the many intricacies that I find Love in my midst. One of my practices has threaded into my heart and offers such healing and respite, I literally never want to leave. In the same way I am drawn in, life and obligations beckon me back to the responsibilities I am so blessed to carry.
Love will reveal itself. It whispers and never shouts. The soothing care surrounds you and and me at all times. The secret is Presence. Once you are calm enough to greet Love, the secure and encompassing arms are there as it always has been.
Let Love cradle your body and your cares will be safe in the harbor of the Presence. Renew and refresh in the gentleness of Love’s embrace. Love wants you to be your best. This can only occur if you take off your armor and stop. Float. The longer you soak up Love and let it do its transformative work, more solid your soul emerges.
